Despite the thunderstorms early on Saturday morning, the sun came out and we were able to finish shooting the first episode of Start Something Big!
What a relief. For real, we’ve been doing shoots since February, but we’ve finally done it.
Now to continue the editing process for the launch the week of June 20th.
One thing I’ve learned over the past few months is: It is IMPOSSIBLE to think you can create a TV show alone. I know what you’re thinking: well…duh… but somehow in the beginning that’s how I was going about it.
At this point, I’ve passed the Exec. Producer/Director role over to Roberta Bell… who’s literally rockin’ this. She’s so dedicated to making sure we produce a quality project, which is adding a newfound energy and commitment to the project.
And to continue to spread the message that anyone has the power to Start Something Big I’m planning to launch a conference of the same name here in Toronto, featuring locals who have started big things who’d like to share their story and advice.
I really see this as just the beginning…
